Arts on Main
Class Policies

Arts on Main strives to ensure that its programs are available to all. To fulfill this goal, we have the following Class Policies.

Registration

Anyone can register for our in-person classes either on our website, www.gloucesterartsonmain.org/ or by visiting Arts on Main at 6580 Main Street, Gloucester, Virginia. At this time, we do not have any virtual classes.

When registering, please pay attention to any supplies needed, clothing recommendations, or directions in the event that your class is at a different location!

Refund Policy

Many of our classes are popular and sell out quickly! If you are unable to attend a class after registering, we ask that you notify us in advance so we can let others know there is space available. We have the following refund scale, which may be adjusted at Arts on Main’s discretion:

  • If you withdraw from the class more than one week (seven days) prior to the class registration deadline or start date (whichever is sooner), you have the option to be refunded the full class fee (100% refund) or donate the class fee to Arts on Main.

  • If you withdraw 48 hours prior to the class registration deadline or start date (whichever is sooner), you have the option to be refunded half of your class fee (50% refund) or donate the refundable portion to Arts on Main.

  • If you withdraw less than 48 hours prior to the class registration deadline or start date (whichever is sooner), your class fee is nonrefundable (0% refund), and your class fee will cover the expenses already incurred by Arts on Main and the instructor(s).

  • If you do not arrive for the class, your class fee is nonrefundable (0% refund), and your class fee will cover the expenses already incurred by Arts on Main and the instructor(s).

Class Cancellation Policy

If the class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified via email as soon as possible. Participants have the option to receive a full refund of the class fee (100% refund) or donate the class fee to Arts on Main. Please be sure to watch your email for important communications prior to the class start date!

Photographs

By attending a class, talk, event, or program at Arts on Main, you agree that photographs of the class, you, or your art may be used for promotional purposes. If you object to having your photo taken, please tell BOTH the Instructor and Arts on Main staff prior to the start of class.
