ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Dia Lawless, originally from Williamsburg, has lived in Mathews County for more than 30 years. She was raised in an extremely artistic family who encouraged her to be creative in life. In 2021, Dia was working at a performing arts center and began to make jewelry from guitar strings, primarily g strings. Subsequently, G Strings, Gems, and Leather was conceived. Not long after, Dia realized she had a passion for weaving beads and began designing and weaving beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces.
