1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Join Carolyn and Donna for a lacemaking class at Arts on Main on Saturday, February 10th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. The class will begin with a short talk about a group of laces popular in the 19th century that were made by creating small designs and adding them to the background net. These were expensive and were called part laces. The class will then use beginning lace-making stitches using cotton thread, bobbins, and a lacemaker’s pillow to make a small heart to take home with them.
