Small Works Show & Holiday Marketplace

Support a small, local business this holiday season by gifting your loved one a present that is unique and handmade!
Arts on Main’s Small Works Show and Holiday Marketplace will focus on small, affordable works that are perfect for holiday gift-giving. The Front Gallery and the Gateway Gallery will feature our Small Works Show where all works are 12 x 12 inch or smaller. Throughout the gallery, tables will be set up for our Holiday Marketplace featuring local artists. Our Small Works Show and Holiday Marketplace will run from December 6th to December 28th. The opening of these shows will take place on Friday, December 6th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and wine + beer will be available for purchase.

Lane Rice is a seasoned songwriter, musician, and artist from Newport News, Virginia.
Lane has been an active part of the music community of Hampton Roads since 2018 performing in cities like Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Gloucester, and Richmond. Lane has built his sound and upon Soul and Country music roots. Lane is inspired to create and perform music that is inspired by the story telling of country music and the feel and rhythm of soul music. Lane’s original music has been inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Chris Stapleton, Allen Stone, and John Mayer. Alongside his original music, Lane perform’s a wide range of covers from all music genres throughout different decades. You can listen to Lane’s original music everywhere music is streamed and watch him perform live acoustic or with his band Lane Rice & Co. in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
